Chinese Shagang cuts HR steel prices for November

It's reported that the Chinese steelmaker Shagang announced to cut its list prices for hot rolled steel products by RMB200/ton for November.

However, the company remained its list prices for medium heavy plates unchanged for November.

After the announcement, its list prices for Q235 hot rolled coils (HRC) with size of 5.5mm x 1,500mm are at RMB3,550/ton; those for SPHC HRC with size of 3.0mm x 1,250/ton are at RMB3,600/ton.

Meanwhile, its prices for Q235 medium heavy plates with size of 14mm-29.9mm are at RMB3,730/ton.

The above prices include 17% VAT and have become effective from November 1st.
