China will eliminate the outdated steel capacity of 26.27 million t in 2011

According to the data released by MIIT recently, China will eliminate the outdated iron and steel capacity of 26.53 million t and 26.27 million t respectively in 2011, meanwhile China's elimination goals for the coke and ferroalloy capacity will reach 18.70 million t and 1.857 million t in 2011.

Looking at the elimination goals set by MIIT as a whole, The province of Hebei, Henan, Shandong and Shanxi will suffer from more pressures considering of the more complicated iron and steel making industries there.
