Your workshop leaders:

LUIGI ROSSI
Serving as an Independent Strategic Advisor to Keller and Heckman, Dr Rossi is the most prominent figure in the EU in the area of food contact legislation. He was previously the European Commission's Principal Administrator for the Food Contact Materials sector. Dr Rossi has prepared virtually all of the EU Directives and Technical documents relating to food-contact materials to date and has chaired and participated in numerous meetings for the European Commission, Council, European Parliament, Economic and Social Committee.

RICHARD MANN
Richard Mann represents business and trade association clients in advertising, labeling, antitrust, general business and corporate disputes before federal and state courts, regulatory agencies, and legislatures. He has extensive experience representing clients in proceedings at the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Trade Commission, Federal Election Commission, Consumer Product Safety Commission, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and other regulatory agencies.

WILFRED FENG
Wilfred Feng, from Keller and Heckman LLP's Shanghai office, counsels clients on regulatory issues focusing on food and drug regulation and chemical control laws in Asia. His broad experience includes working with government officials and industry groups to develop policy-making for the biotechnology industry, securing necessary approvals, managing products and designing and executing field development and registration programs for herbicide development in China. Wilfred Feng has also published several papers and served as chairman and spokesperson for a biotech industry association.

Joan Sylvain Baughan
Joan Sylvain Baughan's practice concentrates on Food and Drug Administration and comparable international regulation of food contact materials, drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices. In addition to practicing in the firm's Washington office, she has spent three years counseling foreign and domestic clients from the firm's office in Brussels, Belgium, where she focused on the regulation of food packaging materials and medicinal products under European Union and Member State legislation.
