"Zhonghuang 35" breaks soybean output record

      Guangzhou China Nov. 25, 2010 - Recently, "Zhonghuang 35" super-high yield soybean has received acceptance and test by Professor Qiu Jiaxun, the expert group head from National Center for Soybean Improvement in Nanjing Agricultural University and Professor Dong Zhuang from Shenyang Agricultural University. The output of soybean reaches 6075kg/ha with the actual harvest area of 70ha, which breaks the soybean output record in China.
      
      "Zhonghuang 35" was bred by Researcher Wang Lianzheng, a famous Chinese soybean breeder. "Zhonghuang 35" has the characteristics of high-yield, high oil content and widely adaptable variety. It has got approval from Northern Spring Soybean Late-maturing Group, and it has also been approved in Inner Mongolia and Jilin Province for its potential of wide further promotion in 10 provinces in northern China. Since 2007, "Zhonghuang 35" has been planted experimentally with the output reaching over 5,250kg/ha every year. In 2009, it created a national record with 6,030kg/ha.
      
      In order to increase soybean output and peasant income, experts have proposed to further promote the application of planting "Zhonghuang 35" in suitable regions.
