Vice Minister Qu Dongyu had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Ajmal Qureshi, former United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Representative in China, DPR Korea and Mongolia, in Beijing on 27 July 2017.
Vice Minister Qu welcomed Mr. Ajmal Qureshi and thanked him for his contribution to China's food security, development-oriented poverty alleviation and sustainable agricultural development during his term of office as FAO's Beijing-based Representative. Vice Minister Qu hoped that Mr. Ajmal Qureshi could continue promoting practical cooperation in agriculture between China and the FAO and other international organizations, and offer advice and suggestions on China's agricultural development and international cooperation.
Mr. Qureshi thanked China for its support to Beijing-based Representation during his term and wished for further progress in agricultural development in China.
