China (Beijing) International Condiment & Food Ingredient Expo (ICFI) 2016 was held in the National Agriculture Exhibition Center from Oct.15 to 17, 2016. Vice Minister Qu Dongyu attended the Expo on Oct.15.
Vice Minister Qu visited a number of key enterprise booths and had a talk with exhibitors on broad topics including condiment industry development, product upgrading, brand building and international cooperation, among others. Upon the information and suggestions learned at the Expo, he made proposals for the development of condiment industry as well as the Expo.
ICFI 2016 was the first international condiment exhibition organized by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, MOA. With a total exhibition area of 8,000 square meters, it attracted over 150 enterprises from 6 countries abroad and 18 domestic provinces, showcasing thousands of condiment and utensil products.
Some other officials from MOA and industrial institutions, and the representatives of Polish and Danish embassies to China also attended the event.
