To further expand and intensify bilateral agricultural cooperation, Qu made a four-point proposal: first, make good use of the China-Italy Agricultural Cooperation Working Group, strengthen personnel and information exchange, and work out feasible plans and cooperation priorities to promote the development of bilateral collaboration in an orderly manner; second, build a China-Italy agricultural S&T cooperation platform, expand cooperation fields, and jointly apply for international research programs to upgrade agricultural S&T cooperation; third, further open the markets of both sides, remove all investment barriers, and carry out various investment promotion activities to boost practical economic and trade cooperation; fourth, promote the integration of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
