The Agricultural Scientists of the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) has created an improved breed of milkingcattle via crossbreeding, the Pakistan Observer reported.
The purpose of the development is to help raise farmers' incomes as well as reducing livestock diseases, according to Sardar Ghulam Mustafa, the spokesman of PARC.
Pakistan'scattle tend to be low milk-producing animals which take longer maturing periods, have longer calving interval and shorter lactation length, said experts.
