China lysine market stable albeit flat demand
Lysine prices were remained stable the week ending March 1.
Supplies of lysine stayed tight as producers limited production. Hence, even as feed millers withheld purchases while stocks were sufficient and feed demand remained flat, prices of lysine stayed stable.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine stayed unchanged in the range of RMB8.50-9.20/kg.
Lysine prices should remain firm in the near term amid tight availability.
