Michigan State University Extension and Michigan State Horticultural Society will be hosting a Spring Tree Fruit meeting for east Michigan fruit growers April 10, 2014, at Walli’s Family Restaurant in Flint, Mich., from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Walli’s is located just east of Flint, Mich., at 1341 S. Center Rd., Burton, MI 48509.

A dynamite list of topics and speakers are lined up for the day-long program. Details are listed below. There will be 8 MDARD pesticide recertification credits available for attendees. The MSU Extension Bulletin E-154, 2014 Fruit Management Guide, will be available for sale at $25 per copy.

Registration cost is $30 and includes educational materials, meal and refreshments. Check or cash is accepted at the door – no preregistration is needed. Accommodations for persons with disabilities may be requested before April 8 by calling 810-244-8555.
