should be monitored closely.This was a key message arising from the UK Cereal Pathogen Virulence Survey (UKCPVS) stakeholder event held in Cambridgeshire earlier this month.Key findings1. Yellow rust sampleswere dominated by warrior-type isolates2. Warrior-type isolates carry a range of virulence genes3. Variety diversification grouping has not been possible (because of Point 2)4. 20 out of 41 of the current Recommended List varieties were resistant to all yellow rust isolates tested5.
