BASF to introduce 45 new products for better crop production
In the 2015-2019 period, BASF Crop Protection may introduce 45 new sustainable agriculture products that will help boost yield potential and promote better crops, Environmental Leader reported.
The plan will require more than US$1.5 million into research and development.
Last fall, BASF developed a new process, called the "Sustainable Solution Steering method", which will systematically review and evaluate sustainability aspects of about 50,000 relevant product applications in the company's portfolio, worth US$60 billion in sales.
