Three agricultural industry guidelines approved by GRC

Entrusted by Department of Crop Production of MOA, ICAMA organized the Guidelines Review Committee (GRC) to review the three agricultural industry guidelines in Beijing on Dec. 19, 2014. Including Guidelines on pesticide physico-chemical properties test, Guidelines on method validation of analytical method for agrochemicals and test Guidelines on the batch analysis of Technical for pesticide registration.

It is believed that the above three guidelines drafted by ICAMA will improve the regulation on pesticide registration and quality control, ensure compliance with international norms and fill the gaps in relevant sectors of China.

The Guidelines on pesticide physico-chemical properties test provides a revision of 22 existing test guidelines, and adds 16 new test methods for measuring pesticide physico-chemical properties like solubility in water, relative self-ignition temperature for solids, inflammation of gases, and so on. It will play a significant role in improving China's standard series on physico-chemical properties test.

The Guidelines on method validation of analytical methods for agrochemicals defines fundamental principles and requirements on establishing appropriate methods for determining the contents of active ingredient(s), stabilizers, safeners and impurities in TC/Tks, and those of active ingredient(s), stabilizers, safeners, synergists and impurities in formulated products as well. The Guidelines also specify the relevant test item and evaluation indexes.

The Guidelines on the batch analysis of Technical for pesticide registration establishes fundamental principles and requirements concerning analytical standard, samples, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and test report preparation. The Guidelines provides a scientific basis for TC/TKs evaluation, and facilitates the standard operation of the batch analysis.C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\14199874235197706.jpg
