Japan's November compound feed output up 3.8% on-year
The total compound feed output of Japan rose 3.8% in November 2010 against a year earlier to 2.145 million tonnes, marking the first on-year rise since April, Agriculture Ministry data showed.
In October, total output of compound feed for animals fell 5.4% from a year earlier to 2.076 million tonnes.
Japan is the world's biggest importer of corn, the main ingredient in animal feed in Japan. The US is its main supplier of corn for feed use.
