Miratorg's 2013 feed production up 40% on-year
As the leading feed producer in 2013, Miratorg's total volume of feed production has amounted to 1.067 million tonnes last year, 40% higher than in 2012,according toa recent company report.
At the same time the company projected a further increase of feed production in 2014, as the new feed mill inRussia's Bryanskregion has reached its full production capacity.
After launching in May 2013, thesophiscated feed plant grew by 25% to 1.46 million tonnes of feed per year, added the company.
The largestportion of feed productionwill cover the company's own livestock needs.
According to statics, the harvest rose to 512,000 tonnes, which is 73% higher than in 2012 (297,000 tonnes). Arable landunder the agricultural holdinghas increased by 65,000 hectares last year, which amounts to 381,000 hectares, 21% higher than in 2012.
