According to data released by the Korean Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), Korea imported 41,010 tons of rebar in February, rising by 23% from a month ago while falling by 5% year on year.
In February, Korea imported 36,300 tons of rebar from China, surging by 44% year on year and increasing by 153% from a month ago.
Meanwhile, Korea imported 4,600 tons of rebar from Japan, slumping by 75% month on month.
