According to data of the Brazilian foreign trade ministry (MDIC), Brazil's imports of stainless steel flat products totaled 29,655 tons in May, slumping by 33.18% from a month ago but rising by 2.17% year on year.
In May, China and Germany were the two largest suppliers of stainless steel flat products to Brazil.
In the first five months of this year, Brazil's imports of stainless steel flat products amounted to 211,452 tons, jumping by 63.82% year on year.
