Organized by CCM International Ltd., China Crop Protection Summit (CCPS) 2011 will be held on March 18th to 19th in 2011 in Shanghai, China. As an ideal platform for obtaining the latest market information and networking for key industrial leaders, CCPS covers most of the current hot topics related to crop protection industry, and one of the major topics is about rice insecticides in China.

Underdeveloped agro-companies in emerging countries have contributed a lot in the past few years, but the growing concerns on health and environmental pollution will inevitably hinder the rapid development of agro-industry if waste water from pesticide technical producers keeps running without appropriate treatment. Once clean water supplies are polluted, health risks will be gravely increased. There is an urgent need for improving water treatment systems.

Waste treatment technology on pesticide technical production in Chinawill be presented in CCPS 2011 by Xiangdong Wu, Sales Manager of Hangzhou Tianchuang Waterpure Equipment Co., Ltd. Mr Wu specializes in membrane separation technology, wastewater resource circulation of chemical pesticides, water recycling and reuse field. He has acquired remarkable achievement on resource circulation of glyphosate mother liquor.

In this speech, Mr. Wu will firstly introduce the urgent need of waste water regeneration. Policies issued by the Chinese government are encouraging enterprises to put more efforts into technological research. In-depth analyses will focus on membrane separation process, including the brief introduction, advantages, application to agro-industry in terms of ultrafiltration (UF) and membrane bioreactor (MBR)— a new kind of wastewater treatment process with combination of high-efficiency membrane separation technology and traditional activated sludge process. Membrane process has become an important tool in water management and water related environmental engineering. The speech also covers information on cleaner production and reclaimed water. In the case study chapter, Mr. Wu will give samples of applying membrane technology to the treatment on glyphosate IDA route, dimehypo mother liquor, biopesticide and organic phosphorus.
