The Taiwanese API pipe exporters have faced fierce price competition against South Korea and Vietnam recently.It's known that the Taiwanese steel pipe exporters hiked the export prices for API pipes by US$10~US$15/ton to around US$850/ton FOB for next February in order to reflect higher input costs.However, the steel pipe makers in South Korea and Vietnam have cut the API pipe export prices.Industry sources said that the steel pipe makers in South Korea and Vietnam cut the prices in order to digest the inventories.
