Chinese steel giant Baosteel announced on March 25th that it has signed a contract with a subsidiary of China State Shipbuliding Co. (CSSC) - CSSC Logistics Co. for long term supply of steel scrap from the company.CSSC Logistics Co. was established in August 2012 in Shanghai for its business of selling and processing waste and scrap materials from shipbuilding activities of CSSC.Baosteel expects the deal to result in improved scrap quality, greater transportation efficiency and lower management costs.
