Chinese Hebei Steel cuts steel flats prices for April

It's reported that the Chinese Hebei Steel released its price policy for steel flat products for April.

The company decided to cut its list prices for hot rolled steel plates and coils by RMB380/ton, to reduce its list prices of cold rolled sheets and coils by RMB150/ton and to decrease its list prices for medium heavy plates by RMB300/ton.

After the adjustments, its prices of Q235 hot rolled plates and coils with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3,950/ton; those for SPCC cold rolled sheets and coils with thickness of 1.0mm are at RMB4,810/ton and those for Q235 medium heavy plates with thickness of 14mm~20mm are at RMB3,800/ton.

The above prices include tax and will become effective from April 1st.
