US’s weekly crude steel output falls

According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US's weekly crude steel output totaled 1.858 million short tons in the week ended on April 6th, up by 12.1% from a week ago while falling by 7.7% year on year.

In the given period of time, the country's average capability utilization was at 77.6%, higher than 75.9% in a week ago.
