Reportedly, Korea's imports of heavy plates surged substantially in March.
According to statistics, Korea imported 255,781 tons of heavy plates in March, jumping by 59.8% from a month ago. The average import prices were at US$690/ton.
Among them, 161,550 tons were from China, soaring by 48.9%; 85,797 tons were from Japan, increasing by 81.6%, both compared to those in a month ago.
