This year, corn farmers and soybean farmers in Heilongjiang Province will receive subsidies of USD83.21/ha and USD521.18/ha respectively, while in Dongfeng County of Jilin Province, subsidies will be USD214.57/ha and USD656.96/ha respectively – and that county's figures are predicted to be in line with other counties/cities in the province.

On 7 Sept., SanXing Trade proposed the privatisation of Changshouhua Food by a scheme of arrangement. Upon completion of this scheme, Changshouhua Food will become a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of SanXing Trade, and its shares will be withdrawn from the HKEX.

The 2 million t/a corn deep processing industrial park project of Inner Mongolia Mengjia Biotechnology was being built as scheduled. The project includes 600,000 t/a fuel ethanol project and comprehensive supporting project, 300,000 t/a citric acid and citrate project, and 952 t/a hyaluronic acid and hyaluronic acid derivative project. The former is mainly implemented in 2020, while the latter two are fully promoting the feasibility design and other work, which are planned to start construction in the spring of 2021.
