Quarterly Report of Potato Starch provides you with real-time intelligence on China’s Potato Starch market.

The total production of potato in China is leading in the world, but its processing rate and value-added ratio are relatively low. As the low level of potato industrialization can’t meet the China’s demand, there is huge market potential for potato processing in China.

Currently, China imports large amounts of potato starch from the Netherlands, Germany and other countries. As the anti-subsidy action is taken by the government, some foreign enterprises of potato starch may suffer losses. Domestically, with the promotion of potato as stapleand the implementation of stricter environmental regulation, there areopportunities and challenges for China’s potato starch industry.

Besides, potato starch is threated by many competitive and substitute products, such as cassava starch, corn starch and wheat starch.
