6月30日，湖北省经济和信息化厅网站发布公告，2018年6月-2021年6月期间全省已完成沿江1公里范围内化工企业关改搬转任务。根据《湖北省沿江化工企业关改搬转任务清单》，长江、汉江、清江段1公里-15公里范围内化工企业共478家，其中沿江1公里范围内化工企业共118家，分布在武汉、宜昌、荆州、黄冈、黄石、恩施等14个市州。目前，湖北省化工新材料、高端精细化工、生物农药、新型高效化肥等高档次化工产品比重达到30%以上，低端高耗能产品大幅减少，实现了"搬新、搬高、搬绿、搬强'。

7月，河南省受暴雨影响，运输阶段性停滞。甲醇虽然处于淡季，但受制于原材料煤炭供应偏紧，出厂价格呈现涨势。醋酸生产企业及甘氨酸生产企业所在地区降雨量相对少，影响不大，基本能正常生产。但由于众多路段运输受阻，货物运输受到阻碍，物流走货缓慢，也间接造成企业有一定的产品库存积压。预计河南洪灾过后，运输恢复正常后，醋酸和甘氨酸出厂价格很有可能会走低。
