The Sino-US trade war started on 6 July, 2018 and since then it has been escalating. Affected by extra tariffs levied, China's imports of agricultural products from the US fell to USD16.23 billion in 2018, a YoY decrease of 33%. From Jan. to Nov. 2019, China's exports to the US fell 13% YoY, imports from the US fell 23% YoY.
